The UFC has officially announced that Rashad Evans was denied a license to fight by the new York Atlethic Commissions due to ” medical issues”. Evans was supposed to fight Tim Kennedy and so far no replacement or plans for replacement have been announced. Evans mentioned on his social media not to worry and that he is fine. He is disappointed but has no other choice then to respect the decision of the commission. It will be the first time MMA will take place in New York so the commission might have a zero tolerance policy.
Meanwhile Kennedy, us calling out other fighters like Anderson Silba and Nick Diaz to replace Evans. Nothing has been confirmed yet so far.
